Sparks are the usage unit in Keenoble. Find your balance in the top bar, see what is left today, and know exactly when free Sparks come back.

Before you start

A signed-in account. Guests see a running total in a banner instead of the balance chip.

Steps

Look at the top bar, to the right of the project button. The balance chip shows your plan and your balance — for example “Free” followed by a Sparks figure, or “Premium” followed by the Sparks left this month. [Unverified]
Click the chip to open the balance panel. [Unverified]
On the free plan, read the “Free Sparks” row: your balance out of 5.0, a bar, and a line reading “Resets in …” with the time remaining. [Unverified]
Free Sparks reset three times a day, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 CET. They do not accumulate — each window starts again at 5.
If you have bought a top-up, a “Purchased Sparks” row appears below it, labelled “Never expire · used after free Sparks”. [Unverified]
Spend order is free allowance first, then purchased Sparks. That is why a top-up survives a reset.
On Premium, read the two rows instead: “Today”, showing what you have used against today's pace cap, and a line reading “… / 1,000 Sparks left this month”. [Unverified]
Close the panel by clicking anywhere outside it. [Unverified]

What the daily cap on Premium is

Premium includes 1,000 Sparks a month, paced rather than walled. The daily ceiling is daily cap = (Sparks left ÷ days left in the period) × 2.5 — so a quiet week raises the ceiling later in the month rather than expiring, and a heavy day cannot drain the whole month.

Purchased top-ups are exempt from that pacing entirely. That exemption is the reason to buy one.

The rough price of a message

The free-plan panel prints a one-line guide at the bottom: standard messages, search-backed messages and Claude-class messages each have their own rate. The exact figure for any single answer is on that answer's own receipt, which is the number that actually left your balance.
